Sunday School is a vital ministry that is used for discipleship among all ages. Sunday School is used to help equip and disciple people for the work of God, as well as to educate them concerning Biblical teachings and doctrines. Sunday School classes are available for all ages and meets on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Hedgeville Baptist youth Group
Bro. Kenny Baskin serves as our Youth and Children’s Minister. These ministries serve a very important role in our church. We desire to reach and teach our young people for Christ. The Youth also participate in mission work and activities.
Hedgeville Baptist Children’s Church
Children’s Church is a ministry that meets on Sunday Mornings during the 11:00 worship hour. During this time the children meet for what we call Jr. Church. This ministry is fashioned to teach and reach kids for Christ on their level. We pray that this ministry will help children to be prepared to enter adult worship with better knowledge and understanding
Hedgeville Baptist AWANA Club
Our AWANA Club is a children’s ministry that encourages children to fulfill the 2nd Timothy 2:15 challenge. AWANA Club meets during the school year on Wednesday Nights at 6:45 p.m. during Adult Bible Study. The ministry consists of the children participating in Bible lessons as well as memory verses. This ministry encourages the children to work hard and as a result they earn rewards as defined in Hebrews 11:6.
Hedgeville Baptist Little Blessings Nursery
The Nursery is a ministry for children ages 3 and under. This ministry is provided for the care and foundational teaching of our young children. The nursery is provided for the Sunday School hour as well as the morning worship hour.
Baptist Men is a men’s organization that serves as a men’s mission work. In Baptist Men’s Meetings the men of the church share in lessons that helps strengthen their knowledge and Servant hood. They also participate in local mission work.
Hedgeville Baptist WMU
WMU is a women’s mission ministry that promotes participation in carrying out the Great Commission. WMU stands for Women’s Missionary Union and meets once a month. WMU is involved in both Local and Foreign Missions. Women of all ages are welcome to the meetings.
Our deaf ministry is a very valuable asset. Located near the Kentucky School for the Deaf we can effectively minister the Gospel to those who need an interpreter.
Golden GladTimers is an in-reach ministry for the seniors of our church. This ministry is used as a means to help our seniors relate to each other through fellowship.
